When your application is received


The Basics About Becoming an Egg Donor

We believe it is important to help you understand what will happen if you decide to become an egg donor. We are always happy to answer your concerns and questions. If you would like to be an egg donor, you may request an application either online or by phone.

You can expect to receive our packet of information within one week. The envelope will be discreetly labeled.

Completing the application is your first step toward becoming a donor.

The application packet contains information about our agency and a detailed application. This application asks you about your personal habits, health, education, employment, fertility history and motivation about being a donor.

Basic qualifications and preliminary requirements of registration as a donor with Pacific Fertility Parenting Center:

  1. Be between the age of 21 and 29.5 years old.
  2. Be healthy, nonsmoking and drug free.
  3. Weight must be within normal ranges.
  4. Have no genetic hereditary illnesses.
  5. Be willing to give your self numerous injections.
  6. Complete an application.
  7. Send photographs of yourself and any children you have.
  8. Provide a copy of your birth certificate and driver's license.
  9. Authorize release of your medical records.
  10. Out-of-state donors must live within a one-hour drive of a major airport.

When your application is received, we will contact you to set up a phone interview with our family counselor. The purpose is to review the psychological aspects of being a donor and address any concerns you may have about the process. The Centers' physicians will review the medical history section on your application which helps us to further determine your suitability as a donor.
